ANA CLARKSON (Founder, Complicit Productions) is an actor, producer, and professional storyteller. She has performed with improv groups throughout San Francisco. In 2017, she originated Complicit Productions, which is responsible for culturally informed and historically founded improvised performances. Its productions have included Baker Beach, a two-act improvised stageplay set in the Vietnam War; Demimonde, a romantic farce set in late 1890s Paris, and the immersive experience of Grendel’s Grinches, a site-specific Viking storytelling show that was hosted at the SF Meadery.

SHAWN BRICK (Founder, San Francisco Improv Collective) took his first improv class on the recommendation of an acting coach... and has never looked back. He has trained at A.C.T., the Berkeley Rep, and BATS Improv. Shawn performs regularly with a number of Bay Area improv troupes, including the San Francisco Improv Collective, The Iron Stage (improvised Game of Thrones), Fractured Dimensions (improvised Twilight Zone), and his first love, Phasers on Stun. He dearly loves the BATS-style long-form improv that Phasers on Stun performs, but also has a secret love of short-form. More important than improv, of course, is Star Trek. Trek Trek Trek Trek Trek Trek!

REMI FRAZIER (Owner/Operator, Deterministic Productions) is delighted to continue his work with Phasers on Stun. A veteran of Colorado improv and sketch in the Clown Box Theatre Company (2003-2009), Sandbox Stories (2008-2011), and SoonToBeFamous Productions (2001-2003), he moved to San Francisco in 2011. In the Bay Area, he has performed with various other short-run troupes, including Yessing! Modern Musicals (2014-2016), the San Francisco Improv Collective (various guest roles, 2013-2015), and Complicit Productions (Baker Beach, Demimonde, Grendel’s Grinches). He has been the most inspired by his contact with veterans as a performer in the CONTACT Project/Echo Theatre Suitcase (2013-2015). He is also a stage manager and production designer/expiditer whose Bay Area credits include Improv Playhouse of San Francisco (since 2014), BATS and 3 For All at the Bayfront Theatre (since 2012), Inside Out at the Southside Theatre (since 2013), and Impro Theatre and Be-Bop Baby at Z Space (2013).

REZ GRAHAM is a professional actor and improvisor with over a decade of experience performing and teaching improvised theatre. He specializes in San Francisco style longform in which full stories and plays are performed, with the only difference being that the actors have no scripts and are making up the dialog and story on the spot. It’s an intensely creative process, and the ephemeral nature of stories makes them even more magical.

MELANIE SALMAN works as a marketer in the tech industry. She started acting in high school but it wasn't until her first improv class at BATS that she found her true passion. Since then she has been lucky to study with talented instructors and perform around SF with a variety of local groups such as the Flux Capacitors and SFIC.

DEBRA SCHIFRIN (Owner, Business Meet Play) started her theater career at age 7 as a singing mouse in Cinderella, later finding her passion with improv. She is currently an ensemble member of the long-form improvised Star Trek group “Phasers on Stun,” and Endgame Improv’s house Harold team “The Ouij.” She is a member of the silent movie improv troupe “Shut up and Kiss Me,” which performed at last year’s San Francisco Improv Festival. Her improv experience includes full-length plays in the style of Oscar Wilde, Shakespeare, Star Trek, and Broadway musicals. She has also performed with the San Francisco Improv Collective, Unscripted Theater Company, Washington Improv Theater, and BATS – guesting with their main stage production of “American Musical” and as a real-life reporter in their main stage improvised news show. Debra performed Sketch comedy with PianoFight in SF, and is the author of three short plays performed locally and in Washington DC, including a performance at Impact Theater in Berkeley. Her love of all things Star Trek began as a kid watching re-runs of the original series. Live long and prosper!

LAURA WOOD (Founder, San Francisco Improv Collective) has been in the Bay Area improv scene since 2012, where she first started performing with the Peninsulators. She can be seen on stage with the San Francisco Improv Collective and The Iron Stage.
